Life and Death

Had a near death experience today. Was driving to northern Michigan with a few friends to my family's cottage on the lake and if anyone lives in Michigan you know how the weather was today. It's monsoon season and boy did we get hit. Anyway, my friends car wasn't in the best condition apparently and as we're going 60 down the freeway the driver side rear wheel popped off the axle and caused us to spin out. We slid across 4 lanes of traffic, luckily missing the other cars and smashed into the cement barrier dividing the highway. The car is totaled but thankfully my friends and I are all ok.

This probably won't get many views, but I needed to type this out, still a little shook up.

Moral of the story: rain sucks
